Visit to Hagerman Wildlife Refuge on March 4th for the Little Sit bird count. Currently there are numerous pelicans, shovelers, and other migrating water birds stopping in the refuge on their way back north, along with many of the usual suspects. I was renting the Canon 800mm F11 lens for the weekend and got some great shots with that.
