Late Summer at Hagerman’s

Nicer morning temperatures and the appearance of some of the Fall migratory birds made for a great visit to Hagerman’s Wildlife Refuge in the final days of August. The birds put on quite a show with a group of Avocets hanging out and then bursting into a feeding frenzy, several groups of Glossy Ibis, a single Roseate Spoonbill putting in an appearance, and a crazy Tricolored Heron executing dance moves in the pond (The Sprinkler or Everyone Kung Fu Fighting shown here).
